Vulgar Messages Appear As Bridgewater Schools Websites Hacked - Bridgewater, NJ Patch

musognaol.blogspot.com

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — All 12 of the Bridgewater-Raritan School District websites appear to be hacked on Thursday night. The websites have since been shut down.

Vulgar, racial, and homophobic messages are being displayed on each of the school's websites including "Nice security lmao."

The cyberattack claims to have hacked into each of the 12 different school websites. A racial video is also being displayed.

The school district did not immediately respond to Patch for comment on the situation.

This isn't the first cyberattack in the area. Hillsborough Public Schools were previously targeted in April forcing schools to close and then switch to virtual learning for the remainder of the week. Read More: Cyber Attack Closes Hillsborough Schools Monday
