Clatsop County will move to the “Lower Risk” category of state-mandated COVID-19 business and social guidelines beginning Friday, June 4, based on the local rate of new infections.
The Oregon Health Authority recorded 16 new COVID-19 cases in the two-week reporting period from May 16 through May 29.
Under the Lower Risk designation, restaurants, gyms and indoor entertainment establishments may operate at 50-percent capacity, and faith institutions may allow up to 75-percent of capacity. For a complete list of all risk level guidance and restrictions, go here:

Last month Gov. Kate Brown announced that restrictions imposed under the risk level metric will be lifted once 70 percent of the state’s population age 16 and over receives at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
