Actress Aparna Nair recently made headlines after she lodged a complaint against a Facebook user for making vulgar comment on her post. She met the man at the cyber cell office on Tuesday. The actress took to her Facebook page and described her experience of meeting the man who harassed her.
“When he arrived at the office, I asked him why did he post such a comment. Replying to my question, he stated he used to make comments on social media and commented on my post similar way,” wrote Aparna.
Aparna also informed that she has withdrawn the complaint as considering the man’s family and financial background.
In the presence of the officials, the actress also made the man write a statement vowing that he will never behave in such a way to any woman.
She also pointed out that the man’s account was not hacked and he confessed that he did it intentionally.
In the Facebook post, Aparna expressed her gratitude to ADGP Manoj Abraham, Cyber Police Manikandan, Jibin Gopinath and officials in Thiruvananthapuram women cell.
