An Aussie mum has shared her shock after finding her 6-year-old daughter copying some vulgar song lyrics. In the hilarious clip, which racked up over 2.4 million views on TikTok, her young child is seen practising her writing skills.
Unfortunately, Jessica Wren’s daughter had decided to use her favourite song abcdefu by Grammy-nominated singer GAYLE, which famously uses a swear word in the very first line.
“When your 6-year-old starts writing and wants to write every. Single. Thing — including her fave song,” she wrote in the caption, using the hashtags #badmum and #oops to describe the situation.
The video begins with the mum showing her daughter sitting on a tiled floor copying lyrics from an iPad onto a white sheet of paper.
“So what are you writing?” she asks, before zooming in on the iPad.

“Oh, you’re writing the song lyrics. Wow, okay,” she adds in disbelief.
On the iPad, the song lyrics read: “F**k you, and your mom, and your sister, and your job”, with the young girl meticulously copying each letter onto her sheet of paper.
To make the strange situation even worse, the mum revealed that the white piece of paper now marked with an expletive was actually an important document.
“Punchline — I found out this piece of paper was my TAFE homework I have to get signed off by my boss and give back to my teacher,” she wrote sheepishly in the comments.
Pop singer GAYLE couldn’t believe it when she came across the TikTok, telling Jessica that she was ‘so sorry’.
GAYLE then duetted the TikTok, acting like a teacher who was teaching Jessica’s daughter the most important words in the alphabet.
Many saw the 'funny' side to the Aussie mum’s discovery, with some suggesting she try using Eminem or Tupac lyrics next.
“Probably some of the most important words in her vocabulary. Good girl!” one TikToker commented.
“As a kindergarten teacher, I approve this, what a great way to extend literacy development,” another pointed out.
“She’s writing the motivational quote of the day,” a third quipped.
“Very impressed by her penmanship. Her letters are so neat!” another exclaimed.

However, there were a few people who wondered why she was letting her child listen to the explicit version of the song instead of the clean version, which uses "forget you" in place of "f**k you".
“I HATE THIS SONG…why wouldn’t you use a children’s song. So awful,” a user commented.
“I mean…why let her listen to that song in the first place?” another asked.
