'Vulgar' Taylor Swift artificial intelligence deepfakes that were posted on the internet this week should be a 'wake up call', according to experts who demand stricter regulations on AI.
The images in question showed AI-made images of Taylor Swift attending an NFL game, in sexual positions and naked.
While Taylor Swift herself has not publicly responded to the images, which were seen thousands of times, it comes not long after a man was arrested for stalking the popstar.
Jeff Pedowitz, CEO of The Pedowitz Group and author of AI Revenue Architect told The Mirror that people should start to realize now how serious AI is.
He said: "The Taylor Swift deepfake situation has raised some serious ethical concerns in AI ... This incident should serve as a wake-up call.
"We need a more regulated and ethically responsible approach to AI. Let's push boundaries while respecting human dignity and ethics. Together, we can build a future where technology serves for good."

"First, we need a comprehensive legal, technological, and societal framework. From a legal perspective, clear regulations should be in place to stop creating and distributing non-consensual deepfake content. People should be held accountable for their actions."
As the technology surrounding AI will continue to improve, many demand that the laws around it need to adapt as quickly as the tech will.
