3,132 new COVID-19 cases in Alabama - AL.com

Alabama added more than 3,000 new COVID-19 cases since yesterday.

The Alabama Department of Public Health’s Jan. 20 10 a.m. numbers show the state has recorded 429,655 cases of coronavirus, an increase of 3,132 from the day before. The state added 157 deaths to bring its total to 6,283.

ADPH said it is conducting a review of past deaths and numbers could reflect cases that date back weeks or months.

There are currently 2,724 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Alabama.
