SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health's COVID-19 report for Monday shows an increase of 1,201 confirmed cases—bringing the state's total to 106,083—and more deaths.
So far, 1,037,256 people in Utah have been tested for the disease. The state's rolling seven-day average for positive tests is 1,494 per day, and the rolling seven-day average for the percent of positive tests is 17.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 5,102 people in Utah have required hospitalization for COVID-19. Of those, 299 remain hospitalized.
574 people in Utah have died of COVID-19. The two deaths announced Monday are:
- Male, between 65-84, Garfield County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Female, between 45-64, Washington County resident, hospitalized at time of death
