OHA reports COVID outbreak of 21 cases at Barnett McDonald's, 305 new cases in Oregon - KDRV

MEDFORD, Ore--- The Oregon Health Authority is reporting a COVID-19 outbreak of 21 cases at the McDonald's on Barnett Road in Medford. Oregon Health Authority says the case count includes all persons linked to the outbreak, which may include household members and other close contacts to an employee. 

OHA also reported 305 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19. The state is also reporting two new deaths. The total case count for Oregon is now at 35,634. 

The two new deaths in Oregon are an 86-year-old man in Washington County, as well as a 69-year-old woman in Deschutes County. Both had underlying health conditions. 

The state death toll is now 583. 

Oregon Health Authority also reported three other workplace outbreaks. New Season Foods Company in Washington County has 20 cases. The Oregon State Hospital in Marion county has 20 cases. The Oregon State Correctional Institutions in Marion County has 41 cases.
